STORY

Sofia R. is a decorated sprinter at the University of South Florida, consistently placing in the top three at conference meets and earning All-State
recognition for her 100m and 200m performances. Her discipline on the track translates directly into her approach to innovation — methodical, data-
driven, and relentlessly focused on results.

In the CFL, Sofia is developing a wearable injury-prevention device specifically designed for collegiate distance runners. Drawing from her own
experience with training-related injuries, her venture uses biometric sensors and real-time data analytics to flag early warning signs before they
become career-altering setbacks.

Off the track, Sofia advocates for women in STEM and sports technology, speaking at Florida university panels and mentoring underclassmen in the
